Evan's Baptism.

It was quite an eventful baptism. Evan, like his mother, had to be baptized twice! But it wasn't because he didn't get all the way under water. I have a testimony of the importance of witnesses, because the only person that realized Brent was holding up his left arm instead of his right was Grandpa Richard. Until Brent did it again, we all thought it had been fine. Thanks dad! It may have been cold, but it has to be done right.
Evan had also decided to swim a lap after they closed the partition. We could still hear though :)

Evan with his Proud Parents!

Evan and Bishop Sagers.

We were so happy Grandmas and Grandpas and Uncle Michael Motorcycle could come to the baptism.

Catching Up on Kenneth!

Here we go again!

Kenneth turned 12 this month and decided to go zip-lining with dad. He was pretty nervous.

But he had a good time.

Brent had a good time too.

I think he had more fun eating his cake though.

On November 18th, 2012, Kenneth received the Aaronic Priesthood and was ordained to the office of Deacon. Very Proud MOMMY right here!

Cathing up on Evan!

I really need to keep up.

The most Awesome Birthday Cake Evan has ever had!!!! The trees and the moon are sugar cookies, the rocks are dark chocolate, and the only thing you couldn't eat was the wolves. Delicious!

Super excited 8 year-old. Had his party at Austin Park and Pizza.

We were there for 7 hours!!!

I am WAY too OLD for these things!

All the boys had fun spraying the camera. It was saver taking pics of go carts.

I'll add video soon.

Catching up on Mara!

I didn't realize I had missed so many events! Big surprise, right?

Here is Mara's Birthday Party with the cupcakes her brothers made for her.

Pinata whacking! Homemade too!

She loved that hat. She got quite a lot of Hello Kitty gear.

Mara's first Day of SCHOOL!!! Pre-K is so much fun.

Blast from the Past

Mara is wearing the coat I wore when I was four. My grandma Winn bought it for me. I'm so glad Mara can wear it too.
My mom sent me the bear advent calendar she made when I was a kid. Now my kids get to play with it every Christmas just like I did. Thanks mom!

Halloween fun!

It took me a long time to make those dragon costumes, but Kenneth's Sugar Molecule wins the contest again. I'm glad Evan just wanted to be Superman! Very Fitting.

Brent the Pilot

On Aug 25th 2012, Brent Halling piloted his first aircraft. This is what he had to say:

There is a lot of confidence you can fly something until you put yourself in it and realize that the atmosphere of the earth has more control over one's destiny. Never underestimate the benefit of extra mass to the stability of an aircraft.

In otherwords, he was amazed at mother nature. She blew him around like a feather.
There are no future plans to do this again.

For Grandma.

Our 100 degree camping trip to Colorado Bend State Park.

Okay, most of the time it was too hot to even take pictures, but we did manage to have a lot of fun. The best part was going to Gorman Falls. We were very impressed and it was a cool relief, even though you can't get in. We fished and swam in the river, took a few hikes, made smores and hot dogs, climbed lots of rocks, and when things got too hot, we drove 50min to Dairy Queen: twice.

The falls were beautiful and about 60ft tall. We wanted to stay to whole day there, but we didn't bring enough food.

When we got back from one of our hikes, we found out it wasn't a good idea to keep our food in our tent. It wasn't safe from this little rascal. He nibbled a hole in the mesh and helped himself to my awesome trail mix.

The trash pole works as a May pole too, apparently. Except Evan kept hitting his head.

Done with elementary.

I forgot to publish this earlier, but my baby boy graduated from elementary school. sniff sniff

Lots of videos.

Glass bottom river boat ride.

After the 4th of July, we went with our awesome cousins to an aquafer that was so clear from the underwater spring that you could see 28ft down into the water. It was beatiful.

Sand, Block Party, and Museum!

We've had a lot of fun the last couple of weeks.
Mara let of brothers bury her in the sand box! I guess she really trusts them.
The block party we had was awesome and my house was the place to be! We had a bounce house in the driveway, a snow cone machine on the sidewalk, the fire truck on one side, and the obstacle course on the other! This was our 1st annual HOA party so we went big. There were more fun and food too. There was a clown making balloon animals, free pizza and drinks, and basketball. Lots of fun!!!
We went to the Children's Museum on the kids half day. I love Sam's face in the mirrors!

Time to Catch Up..... Again.

Okay we're going to take a trip back in time, starting with today and going back to the holidays. I'm uploaded at Brent's work so it's MUCH MUCH MUCH faster. Sorry I haven't put much on here for a while. Okay, Let's get started!

We went to the zoo today. Here are my 4 monkeys. Mara was supposed to fold her arms and do "Do No Evil" but it's funny anyway.

We saw our cousins at the zoo too. Cute Capuchan.

We got really close to some animals. Black Bear.

Montrous Pig

Lion 1

Lion 2

I did not zoom in on any photo.

We got some bags of food to feed some animals. This goat practically kissed me!

I taught them how to hold their hands flat so they wouldn't get their fingers bit off.

Ready for a egg hunt! Video wouldn't load.

Bluebonnet pictures. If you live in Texas, you HAVE to do this!

Kenneth.

Evan trying not to smash them.

Mara likes to talk to flowers.

Sam is too darn cute!

We went to a small park with a lot to explore. Me and my girl.

Boys love to be on top of rocks!

Closest we ever got to a live armadillo. Walked right in front of us. Their supposed to be nocturnal.

My crew posing for me. I love my family.

This is a nice place.

Kenneth won 2nd place at the Regional Science Fair! WOO HOO!

Sam's birthday party with a few friends.

9 years old.

His first Pinewood Derby. He did really well.

Brent wanted sugar cookies for his birthday cake. He was so happy.

Wishing he could eat them.

My family rocks. I got 2 birthday parties. I got to see my sibs, because my Awesome grandma Norma passed away. I'll miss her a lot. Last summer when I saw her she told me nothing brings people together like a funeral. Well it brought all of us together, she was right, and my sibs threw me a surprise party in the hotel. Love you all and I miss you Grandma.
Back home with my kiddos who worked really hard on my cake. Thank you.

Back to Christmas! It was an awesome year. check out the videos too.

Precious Treasure.

Christmas with his broken foot. He still had a great time.

Mara and Daddy.
This is the kids with their Great Grandpa Wheeler at Thanksgiving. We went up for I short trip, too short. Hopefully we can see everyone again soon.

Battle between good and evil.

Wrestling daddy out of bed Christmas morning. In the end, I flipped the mattress over and got him off. They really need to work together. This is a tradition that carries onto this generation. Brent use to wrestle his dad out of bed on Christmas when he was a kid.

Sliding down rocks and Mayfield park.
