Mara's birth. Not for the faint hearted.

This is rather gruesome but it does have Mara's first cry. It's a C-section, so I'm covered, just really bloody. Plus you can really hear the excitment in Brent's voice.

Here she is!!! Born Aug 15th at 1:14 p.m. 8lbs 11oz and 21.5 in.

Mara Update.

Well, I'm very happy to say she is doing very well. She has been in ready position for 3 weeks and today the sonogram showed she had her feet perched on my belly like a spring board! I have a pic of her head that shows a lot of hair. I'm excited about that. I'm considered full term now so any day is fine with me, but Brent keeps asking her to wait. He wants to finish something at work but if she stays in that long, she'll be born on my birthday! Too bad daddy!

I LOVED THIS TWISTED BOOK!

This was so awesome and freakishly twisted! I didn't see any of it coming! I smiled, I cringed, I threw the book when I got mad, I cried, I laughed out loud. Oh it was just beautiful! I'm ready for Midnight Sun! This is going to kill me. But I have a goal thanks to my hubbie's last post. (grrr) I will look like a hot, sexy vampire for that book release. I'm way too prego!

Since Katie is busy with the new book, I thought I'd take the yolk of keeping the site up to date.

At "Twilight" of yester-eve, the vampires emerged to go buy new books. A "New Moon" lurks in the sunny skies. But this was
no ordinary day for our moon, for behold it blocked out the brilliant sun for a full solar "Eclipse" (this week on August 1st--in Asia). Coincidence? I think the vampires are behind setting the stage for a full global feast! But not before the "Breaking Dawn" for every vampire must be fully rested before they embark on the cruel enterprise (the award stands as evidence to prove it).
