Twilight review

I saw it twice! It was incredibly well done with such a low budget. I was very impressed. Nothing compares to the book but it didn't take anything away from it, and it added positively to the whole Twilight experience.

Please leave your review here. I want to know what everyone thought. What did you think?

I'm not sure what was my favorite part: the screaming of enamored girls, the gufaws from their boyfriends, or the chatter abroad during the quieter scenes.

Seth and I really liked the movie. We want to see it again (but we haven't had a chance to get babysitting again). We thought that it was very faithful to the book in tone and atmosphere. We liked the subtle building of tension between Bella and Edward and we thought that it was similar to subtlety of the relationship in the movie version of "Persuasion" (Amanda Root and Ciaran Hinds). Seth's absolute favorite part was when Alice jumped up and ripped James' head off. I really liked the casting they did for Bella and Carlisle. The jury is still out on the actor for Edward.

Ginger and I thought the movie was poignant, a subtle but worthy classic that deserves a billing next to Citizen Kane.

The hero was "hero-ish" and the heroine looked like she was on....oh nevermind.

The ending was amazing....I always liked to be surprised like that.

Ok, we never saw the movie, but wanted to leave a comment and say "hello!!"
