Yeah for Twilight!!

I'm sooooooooo excited because one of my favorite books is becoming a movie. One of the toughest things they had to do for twilight was find actors that resembled gorgeous Greek gods. THEY SCORED! Check out the pic of the Cullen family.

If you recognize Robert Pattinson in the front then your a Harry Potter fan too. Awesome as Cedric and he will rule as Edward. I'm so excited!!!!! I'm also soooo excited because my completely wonderful and totally cool friend Tara is getting me a ticket to meet Stephenie Meyer!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! I hope it works out. Well Wonders Never Cease!!!

There it is folks. Miracles never cease. It's a girl.

I'm not quite sure how I feel yet but I'm very happy and really freaked out.

As to other reactions, Kenneth basically said 'duh'. He already knew that he was getting a sister. Sam has changed his mind and said he wants a girl now. Evan is still trying to see this so-called baby in my tummy. Brent smiled happily during the ultrasound and took the doctor's warnings about having a girl with consideration and humor. I'm still in shock. I'm going to try to girlie up some things to see if it gets me ready for this. Love to all and thanks for voting. Most of you were right. It's nice to know so many smart people.

Camping

OH A CAMPING WE WILL GO!! This trip was soooo much fun. Even though we went camping at the busiest time of year, we got the best spot and it was peaceful. Well, as peaceful as it can be with six monkeys. We were very fortunate to have our wonderful friends join us. When those six boys get together, it's non stop action. Everyone needs to click on Tara's blog to see more too. She takes much better pics (I borrowed a few because my camera battery died) and she's more interesting anyway.

Around the campfire cookin' beans and eatin' s'mores. Tara is toasting coconut covered marshmallows that went awesome with Hershey's special dark for a gourmet s'more. Million dollar recipe right there!

The park is nothing but prickly pear catus and Spring Valley Gneiss (pronounced NICE) stone. It's very beautiful.

This was the first time we took all the boys fishing. (thanks to grandma for providing all the gear) They had so much fun and surprisingly had more patience then I expected.

This is the very FIRST fish that Brent has caught in his whole life. It was a sunfish, and he threw it back, not realizing he could keep it. Oh well.

After camping at one park we went to another state park with beautiful waterfalls all over the place. Nothing like water and rocks to bring out the best in boys too.

Okay, this morning I went to my 16 week check up and the Nurse Practitioner checked the sex of the baby. At first I was sure I saw a turtle (which means boy) but the nurse said she didn't. She poked around for 20 min, getting the whole thing on video, and decided I was having a girl. I didn't believe her, so she printed out about 5 pics of nothing between the legs. I still think the little booger is going to be a boy in the end but the NP said you can only be about 70% sure at this stage and she was 70% sure it's a girl. I'm placing a pic and a poll on my blog. You Tell ME!

NEWS!

First of all, I'm sorry I haven't updated my blog in a long time.

This is old news for some of you, but I'm pregnant! I'm 11weeks today and sick as a dog! I really like my new doctor and I had a video ultrasound for the first time. The baby is due Aug. 22nd. That's right, 3rd trimemster in a Texas summer. Bring it on! For those of you thinking I'm going to have a girl, FORGET IT! I refuse to hope for anything nor do I believe Brent is capable of producing females.

Speaking of Brent. He went to the doctor to get a spot on his neck check out. After the biopsy, the doctor said it was a small bit of Basal Cell Carcinoma. It's cancer but not the scary kind. He just has to get it shaved off (no stiches) next week, and wear sunblock for the rest of his life. Something we should all do anyway. The doctor told me the only thing that concerns him is how young Brent is. Most white people get it but not until they're older.

Next, today is Sam's 5th birthday! The end of the baby book (boo hoo) has come. Tomorrow is his party and I will try to post pics.
Brent turned 33 on the 22nd, and I turned 29 (for the first time) on the 11th. Brent got me Harry Potter's wand. It rocks!

We're back home.

It was a wonderful and wild Christmas travelling back to Indiana to see everyone. We have missed you and we love you. Thanks for everything.
Congrats to Robert and Chantelle for the birth of baby Jayla on January 4th. We're glad we could stay a couple of extra days to see it.
Well back to the grind stone. I'll post more later.
